For the third year, the Delmarva Tractor Pullers Association, Inc. chose Compass Regional Hospice and the Caroline Hospice Foundation as the beneficiaries of their annual tractor pull held at the Chestertown Elks on September 10, 2016.
The Delmarva Tractor Pullers Association presented a check for $2,400 to Compass Regional Hospice and Caroline Hospice Foundation at the organization’s January 21, 2017 banquet held at the Goldsboro Fire Hall.
Compass Regional Hospice is the sole provider of hospice care and grief support in Queen Anne’s, Caroline and Kent Counties. People of all ages benefit from Compass services as they face the challenges of living with a life‐limiting illness and learn to live following the death of a loved one.
As a non‐profit organization, Compass Regional Hospice relies on financial support from the community to provide services not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
Compass Regional Hospice’s partner in Caroline County, the Caroline Hospice Foundation, is dedicated to raising funds to support the hospice services provided in Caroline County by Compass Regional Hospice in private residences, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and at the Caroline Hospice Home, which is owned by the Caroline Hospice Foundation.
